It applies to the personal information you share with us when you visit our websites at store.adlens.com (the “Site”) using your computer, mobile devices or any other technology, manner or means, or when you contact us regarding our services or products, becoming a registered user, joining our mailing list, or download our research papers.

We collect personal information about you in a number of different ways, either on our Site, via email, when you interact with us online or otherwise. Personal information, or personal data, means any information which could be used, directly or indirectly, to identify you or any other individual that visited the Adlens Site. This may include the following personal information:
a) Details of your registration with us, your email and/or username when you create an account with us;
b) Details of your name, transaction and fulfilment of your order, your delivery and billing address, card payment method, and email address so that we are able to provide you with the product you have purchased from our Site. For avoidance of doubt, we do not store credit card or other financial information (other than confirmation that payment in a certain amount) as we use ‘Third party service providers’ to process credit cards when purchases are made on our Site;
c) Details of your name, email address and organisation (if applicable), for example when you are joining our mailing list or when you’re downloading our research papers;

f) Details of your name, contact details, job role, profession, your employer and/or organisation you are affiliated with when you are enquiring about services;

Our main reason for collecting and using your personal information is to facilitate and improve the services and experiences that we provide.

In those circumstances, we have what’s called a “legitimate interest” in handling your personal information. “Legitimate interest” means the interest of our business in conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best service and the best and most secure experience. Third party service providers
To best serve you, we may need to share your personal data with some of our service providers that provide support services to us or that help us market our services. We enter into contract with our service providers which imposes obligations on both parties to respect the security and integrity of your personal data and treat it in accordance with the law. • We use Google Analytics in order to monitor and analyse web traffic so that we can maintain and improve the performance of our website. Adlens provides Linked Sites to you solely as a convenience, and the inclusion of Linked Sites does not imply endorsement by Adlens of the Linked Sites. Please be aware that Adlens is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site or tracking technologies they may use.

We respect your right to privacy and take all reasonable precautions to keep your data secure and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach. If we suffer a security breach which compromises our protection of your information, we will let you and any applicable regulator know about it where we are legally required to do so.

Opting-out (Adlens Stop Contacting Me)
Promotional Emails: If you no longer wish to receive email marketing communications (known as “opt-out”), you can do so at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of these emails or contacting us. Alternatively, you can do the same by logging into your account. Unsubscribing will stop you from receiving most types of email communications but it will not prevent you from receiving some communications such as service messages, for example: email in response to a specific request from you.Advertising: You can also opt-out of receiving targeted advertising from Adlens on other third-party platforms that you may be using (including social media sites such as LinkedIn and Twitter) by using the privacy features provided by these platforms or by contacting us at data.protection@adlens.com. In making use of the audience targeting features provided by these and other platforms, we may review and process publicly available social media information about you (e.g. Twitter handles or other online identifiers). We make sure any information we use is properly credited to its source or is made anonymous.
Rectification and/or Removal of your information
If you would like to request the deletion or correction of any data we have about you, you can do so at any time by contacting us at data.protection@adlens.com. To do so, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections where necessary to safeguard your privacy and security. Alternatively, you can request the removal of your information via your account.
Restrict Processing
If you request us to “block” or suppress the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances such as where you contest the accuracy of your personal information or you object to us processing it, you can do at any time by contacting us at data.protection@adlens.com. While we verify or investigate your concerns with this personal information, we still store your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy but we will not process or use it for any other purpose until the investigation is completed.You will not normally have to pay a fee to access your personal information. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
